Global Finishing Solutions (GFS), a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of paint booths, curing systems, and specialized finishing equipment for collision repair facilities and industrial operations, has appointed Shishir Tiwari as president. Tiwari assumes oversight of the company’s day-to-day operations, service divisions, distributor networks, and long-term strategic growth plans.
Tiwari joins the equipment manufacturer following a tenure as division vice-president at AMETEK, where he managed an international business unit responsible for the supply of industrial instrumentation, control systems, and vision technologies across North America, Europe, and Asia.
His prior corporate leadership experience includes serving as vice-president and general manager at Wabtec, where he held full profit-and-loss responsibility for the firm’s Shuttlewagon railcar-moving machinery division. Earlier roles encompassed management positions at IDEX Corporation, GE Transportation, and the Indian motorcycle manufacturing firm TVS Motor Company. His multi-industry background includes direct execution in sales engineering, manufacturing operations, industrial servicing, and corporate business strategy.
Tiwari’s academic credentials consist of a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and foundational engineering degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur.
